发疯的幸存者（Mad Survivor）是一名住在普拉切特家后面公寓里精神失常的平民。他痴迷于一个自己所拥有的符文，并在家里打造了一个界外魔的神龛来陈列它。其会像布道一样冲着住所楼下的街道大喊大叫一些奇怪的话。

他写了三篇日记，描述了他是如何得到符文的、为什么他打造了界外魔的神龛以及他的表弟来偷东西时他是怎么“保护”符文的。如果科尔沃·阿塔诺（Corvo Attano）被发现闯入了他的公寓，那么其就会遭到这个疯子的攻击。
