Just thought I'd summarize the new info from the Edge article for anyone interested.

  • The basic version of Domino actually has a 'relatively long' transmission time, although this can be reduced with upgrades.
    • The damage transmission from Domino is EXACT, for instance Dominoing a headshot from a regular guard to an overseer will kill the guard but not the overseer, as his mask will block the damage.
  • Mantling is 'more acrobatic'.
  • Holding the attack button will charge an attack (this was sort of evident in the Dust District gameplay, but I think it's worth having it confirmed).
  • Clockwork soldiers 'can be dismembered, limb by limb'.
    • They can also be rewired to be friendly.
  • There is a mission called 'The Edge Of The World' with 'a big, sprawling area to explore before you get to the actual mission'.

The specifics of how bone charms work are now slightly clearer:

  • Generic bone charms 'have one or two basic traits that mildly improve various skills and abilities'.
    • Breaking charms down into traits requires a specific enhancement.
      • 'Upgrad[ing] the crafting ability enough' allows them to be combined into charms with up to four traits. Whether this means that higher levels allow for more and more traits on a single charm, or that one upgrade is required for charm breakdown and another for recombination, is not clear.
      • Stacking copies of the same trait requires yet another upgrade.
      • You may attempt to 'make a powerful charm even before you're ready' (presumably meaning one with stacked traits), but this comes with an unspecified chance at creating a corrupted charm.
  • I'll just quote Harvey on black bone charms: "We’ve also added things called black bone charms, which you can’t actually make. They’re historical artifacts that you find periodically – there’s a list and it’s semi-randomised. Black bone charms were made by very powerful sorcerers in the past and they’re very precious in the game. You can fill up your charm slots with regular ones, corrupted ones, black ones, crafted ones, or any combination thereof.”
