- The shopkeeper of the black market shop in this mission has some interesting background information, probably more so than all the other shopkeepers. [Credit: AnnCrane]
- We don't know his full name, only the initials: M.V..
- He came from a well-off family.
- He owns or once owned a gallery and is long for the day when he can reopen it.
- His cousin managed to steal the combination for the safe in the bloodfly-infested apartment, the same combination now being sold in his shop.
- He encountered a few of witches and that rattled him.
- If you acquire the Roseburrow Prototype before talking to M.V., the shopkeeper will pretend that protype isn't worth much and try to take advantage of Corvo/Emily. The protagonist then threantens to walk away if M.V. doesn't pay more. [Credit: u/PianoPlayer97]

- This note probably addresses the same Rapollo who would've been pushed into a wall of light back in Edge of the World, if you didn't intervene. From the tone of the note, it probably try to warn him about the Grand Guards.
- There are some Oxrush Flowers in this mission (where the two witches try to ambush you), the same type of flowers that appeared in the second mission of The Brigmore Witches.
- On the 1st floor, there is a functional Dunwall's wall of light (the type that appeared in Dishonored), and in high chaos, you can find a corpse of a Dunwall Overseer.

- The Brigmore Witches in Dishonored 2 are divided into three sub-classes and have access to different powers and have different Blink animation. During combat, their skin change into different skin colors and have different kind of flowers growing on their skin. [Credit: Metworst]
- One of the sub-classes can cast a buff on their allies, reducing Blink cooldown and increasing damage resistance. If the caster is killed while using this power, other witches are damaged.
- Two witches on the second floor can be heard discussing about a third witch named Lucinda who tried very hard to summon Blood Briars and create Gravehounds but failed. This character will actually appear in the Dishonored: The Return of Daud novel. SPOILER ALERT: she played a significant role in capturing Daud and handed him over to the Eyeless Gang.
- Witches are the only unnamed characters that are aware when they are being possessed and some even revel at that. While possessed, they will say things like "Two minutes of bliss, with you inside me, my love" or "Oh, you want to ride along with me?"

- It's not clear what the Roseburrow Prototype is, but The Art of Dishonored 2 book states that it was created by Esmond Roseburrow and inspired Anton Sokolov to invent the modern whale oil process.

- In a hallway on the top floor, there is a map of the Isle which has some markings on it. It's likely that the circle is "Pindo's Passage" and the Xs are "Shirra Pirate Caves", as evidenced by the nearby collectible maps with the same names. The small islands to the east of Serkonos are known hideout of pirates that plague Cullero and the rest of Serkonos, and it's probably dangerous to travel through Pindo's passage because of this. Corvo, as a young Grand Guard officer, fought the pirates on these islands. [Credit: MDGeistMD02, Annibale Porfiry]

- A miniature of the Amaranth, the type of boat Samuel Beechworth used, can be found outside of Ashworth's office.

- If you Blink or Far Reach to anywhere near Ashworth, she will instantly grab and throw you to the ground. It's a really cool animation.
- If you try to possess Ashworth, she will end the possession immediately and say one of the following lines:
- "Get! Out!"
- "My connection to Delilah is too strong for that, warlock!"
- "No! I've been doing this for as long as you have, sorcerer."
- Ashworth can also dispel Mesmerize's Void spirit and say one of the following lines:
- "Back to the Void with you."
- "Impressive, but it won't work on me."
- "I banish you! Back to the great nothing."
- "I can't be mesmerized like some weak-willed fool."
- Ashworth wears a bonecharm called Fickled Beast which can turn summoned entities against the summoner. If you summon a Doppelgänger, it will actually take the form of Ashworth.
- Ashworth is the only known Brigmore Witch to use a pistol, and unlike all the protagonists of the series, she can cast spell without holstering it.

- Two witches on the first floor can be heard mentioning that the Oraculum used parts from the Overseer music boxes, and indeed it's capable of removing Ashworth's powers, albeit permanently. In the screenshot, you can clearly see the cylinder of a music box. Ironically, an Overseer in the mission Edge of the World said that "It grieves me to imagine what cultists might accomplish if they took the music boxes and perverted them to their own ends." - The lenses of the Oraculum is made of a type of crystal found in Pandyssia. In the novel The Return of Daud, it's implied that Sokolov discovered this crystal and dubbed it sokolite.
- If you activate the Oraculum before replacing the lenses, you can hear the Oracular Order's prophecies. Two of them actually predict events in the franchise: the trap Delilah's witches set up for Corvo/Emily in Dunwall Tower and the events in Dishonored: The Veiled Terror novel. For the prophecies, click here.
- If you kill Ashworth then replace the lenses and activate the Oraculum, the remaining witches in the area will converge on the device and attack you, but will all be knockout shortly after.
