- Before entering the water lock, if you look to the right, you can see a few rats riding on some floating planks.
- The Burrow Lighthouse on Kingsparrow Island can be seen from Dunwall Tower. This is a dev oversight since according to this book, the construction of the lighthouse wouldn't start until after Jessamine Kaldwin's death.
- Maybe I'm reading too much into this but this rather unique-looking dead white tree is a possible reference to the White Tree of Gondor which can be found in front of the White Tower of Ecthelion in The Lord of the Rings. Dunwall Tower is also internally called "White Tower" (here and here). In The Lord of the Ring, the white tree withered after the line of the Kings of Gondor ended, which possibly foreshadows Jessamine Kaldwin's demise.
- By now, most people already knew that taking the cider would change the portrait of High Overseer Campbell, but did you know that if you stand in front of Campbell for a few seconds, Sokolov will become frustrated and stop painting altogether?
- If you look out through the window in Corvo's cell, you can see what Hiram Burrows have done to Dunwall Tower in the past 6 months: fortifications and floodlights have been added to the original structure.
- If you kill the guards and place their bodies in front of the prisoner close to Corvo's cell, he will make a few comments [Credit: u/Bro---really]
- "That bastard. He used to spit in my food."
- "Ha! Good for you. I hated that guy."
- "Nice work. Get a few more before they get you."
- In B3 cell, someone wrote "The executioner is gifted" on the wall (it's a bit hard to see from outside the cell). This alludes to Morris Sullivan's special abilities. [Credit: Digital Frontiers]
- The chair, that was used to torture Corvo, belongs to the Abbey (note the Abbey's symbol). This is the same type of chair found in the interrogation room in the High Overseer Campbell mission.
- When you found Samuel, go to the right, and jump into the water, you can find a sunken treasure chest there. [Credit: Zevik]
- Once you reached the Hounds Pit Pub, instead of going through the main entrance, if you go to the back alley and climb to the windows on the 2nd floor, you'll startle Lydia. [Credit: Essie Essex]
