  • The protagonist travelled to Karnaca via the Grand Serkonan Canal, a man-made waterway built with money from rich Gristolian immigrants.
  • In this scene in the mission intro, 3rd man of the left is probably a young Corvo, before leaving for Dunwall.
  • If you bring Amadeo's corpse to Mindy even before she asking you to, she will say that you're "an odd one" for walking around with a corpse. [Credit: Капитан Майк Фоули]
  • Paolo's Crone's Hand Saloon was originally in Campo Seta District (1st picture), across the Overseer's outpost. It was abandoned due to either the bloodfly infestation, the close proximity to the Overseers, or some other reasons. The Howlers later took over a bar in Dust District and renamed it Crone's Hand Saloon. You can see the original name was painted over (2nd picture), and there is also a scaffolding in front of the building with some paint buckets on it, suggesting the sign was newly painted (3rd picture).
Overcharged Wall of Light

It's hard to see but I shot a crossbow bolt at the wall of light, forcing it to zap the nearby guards, even though the wall wasn't rewired.

  • This is easy to miss since most people don't tend to let the scene at the wall of light plays out. But if you don't interrupt, after killing Rapollo, the guards will start talking about how strong wind blow on the windmill, overcharging the wall of light, making it dangerous. This refers to an actual gameplay mechanic that allows the protagonist to use Windblast on windmills, overcharging wall of light. When an overcharged wall of light zaps something, it will also zap EVERYTHING nearby, potentially wipe out an entire guard patrol. [Credit: MDGeistMD02, Pauolo]
  • Speaking of windmill-related gameplay mechanics, the blades can be destroyed with pistol shots or explosion.
  • If you spend some time listening to the Overseer's sermon, he will mention a High Overseer who cannot be named and who was branded and banished from the order. This is a reference to High Overseer Thaddeus Campbell. [Credit: CreepyRena]
  • Someone named Elias is stealing fruits from the Grand Palace and deliver them here. We will actually see this person in The Grand Palace mission.
  • There is an unique giant green bloodfly in Hypatia's apartment.
  • When you play as Emily and use the Heart in the Void, one of the things it says is "In thousands of years, few have seen this place. Three were empresses." The three empresses are Jessamine, Delilah, and Emily herself. But if you play as Corvo, the quote becomes "Two were empresses" because Emily never set foot in the Void.
  • An old dairy found near the bloodfly-infested apartment starts with this passage: "From my window, I see you once a week. You lean against the light blue wall and open a book." Looking through the window, you can actually see a light blue building across the street. A woman is even standing on the rooftop though I'm not sure if she is the person mentioned in the diary.
