Details You Might Have Missed in A Crack in the Slab

• An insane Stilton can see the Heart despite only a selected few can (Corvo/Emily, and Piero who made it). If you take the Heart out in front of him, he will recoil and tell you to put the "grotesque" thing away. This doesn't always happen though, as I have trouble reproducing this consistently. • He also seems to be aware of the Outsider, since he says: "Quiet! The one in the Void hears everything."
• He might also mention 'the thing of bones that Ashworth made', which possibly refers to Delilah's effigy.
• There is cameo of a woman (could it be his mother?) next to the insane Stilton. If you take it, he will get irritated and told you not to mess with his things.

• There is a bonecharm, or what appears to be one, inside the Timepiece.
• The shards of the Timepiece resemble fragments of the Black Mirror in Dishonored: The Corroded Man. Both allow users to look at a different timeline, albeit the Mirror show what could have happened instead of actual past. [Credit: Pauolo]
• There is a note to Stilton from Ashworth. The last part of the note says: "It's an honor that we're doing you, allowing you to participate in Delilah's return. We'll start whether you're there or not. Time to decide which future you want to be a part of", foreshadowing the different outcomes of the mission.
• The Heart also aludes the same thing: "Had he not been with the Duke on that night, his life would have been very different."
• In case it hasn't been obvious enough, Stilton had a romantic relationship with Theodanis Abele.

• Stilton has a tattoo on his neck that says "Deep Down", probably referring to his time working as a miner.
• Stilton wears a lot of accessories that are seemingly made out of silver: bracelet, pin, brooch, chain, coat buttons.

• While performing certain actions in the past that change the present (damage the statue in the safe room, eliminate the workers fixing the window in Stilton's bedroom, damaging the balcony of Stilton's butterfly room...), you can look at the affected objects through the shards of the Timepiece, and observe the objects flicker in and out of existence. You basically just created a hollow, a temporary one at least. [Credit: Zevik]
• There are also many hollows in the séance room, due to overlapping timelines.
• The séance room in the only place that allows you to use the Heart on Delilah.
• The Heart also has a few lines specifically for the séance room:
  • "There is a strange power in this place."
  • "We are close to something - familiar and unknown. I feel afraid."
  • "There is an old spirit here. I remember. Delilah."
• A note found on Trevor, the man who tried to meet Stilton but was denied, suggests he was once Mindy Blanchard's lover.

• Although you don't see Jaime Carrera, Stilton's housekeeper, you can find his corpse at the present time. He had a hideout under the staircase of the great hall and you need to the Timepiece a few time in order to access it.

• There are some references to time in this mission:
  • One of the lines that the insane Stilton might utter is: "This can't be right. Who has been fooling with the clock!?"
  • In the unaltered present, you can hear loud 'thuds' in the background, like the sound coming from a giant grandfather clock.
  • There is a miniature of Dunwall's Clocktower in the silvergraph studio in the past, or in the basement at the present.

• At the end of the mission, in the recreation of the séance room in the Void, you can see the portrait of a disheveled Stilton disintegrating if you saved him earlier, implying that he's no longer insane.

• If you either saved or killed Stilton, and go to the entrance of the manor, you can find a giant wolfhound skull behind a window. There are giant bloodfly husks being displayed throughout the manor as well.
