Are YOU Ready to Edit the Wiki?
First of all, read this.
Then, read this.
And then, read this.
And finally, read this.
Did you read everything? Do you understand all of it? Will you commit to abiding by these rules and guidelines?
If YES, then you are ready to edit the wiki! Congratulations!
And now, moving on...
A person from Gristol is Gristian (even if the devs say it's Gristolian, it's all lies!) This can be a noun or an adjective, i.e. That man is a Gristian. OR That man is Gristian.
A person from Morley is Morlish (Morleyan is a term invented by the cursed imperials! REAL Morlishmen say Morlish!) The noun for a person from Morley is Morlish(wo)man, i.e. I am from Fraeport, which means that I am Morlish. OR As a Morlishwoman, I condemn the use of the term "Morleyan" to describe one of my people.
This information is very important.
Spread the word! Use them in your stories!
In Case Anyone Cares...
Resident Head Lackey here (It means I do all the dirty work).
Initially, I came here for information about Dishonored. That makes sense, doesn't it?
Now, I usually lurk in the shadows nearby, waiting for someone to make an edit, so that five seconds later I can edit the mistakes out of their edit. I am probably hovering behind you right now, looking over your shoulder at any changes you've made to the wiki..
Also, if I happen to have writer's block at the same time I need to write something, I may spend an ungawdly amount of time editing things here. Whether or not they need to be edited.
You Should Read More Often
Take a look at these links if you would like to read actual stories based on Dishonored and not just porn. Don't be ashamed of being a part of the minority. I'm not a bad writer, I promise you. I might make some punctuation errors here and there because I'm not perfect and because I didn't pay attention in English class and, therefore, only remember what I happened to soak in as I was daydreaming. If this sounds interesting, then I look forward to having you as a reader.

While she makes the outward claim her grammatical errors in writing are due to poor retention of English lessons, the truth is that each "mistake" in Essie's writing is carefully calculated, a piece of a secret code in which she communicates with her masters. 8-Bit Jack (talk) 14:59, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
Corvo and Essie had an affair behind Jessamine's back. Essie wrote a fanfic detailing the events which was the best selling story of Dunwall and because of that, Overseers declared it the official bedtime story to be told to children of Dunwall. Crazywarfire (talk)
Unknown to most, Essie is actually Treavor Pendleton's twin sister, kidnapped at a young age. She then writes fan "fiction" about him by carefully and silently watching his every move by her many hidden cameras around his person given to her by a bet won against the Outsider. Agent47JN (talk) 04:14, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Operating under the code name 'Big Mama', Essie is the true leader of the Empire's underworld. Even infamous gang leaders like Black Sally or Slackjaw are nothing but her minions. PikovajaDama (talk) 11:10, December 7, 2013 (UTC)
Essie is a grim amalgam of Lizzy Stride and Granny Rags... pirating away information while weaving her magical webs throughout the wiki. Once she hits 21,417 edits, she will have accumulated enough power and influence over the Dishonored universe to challenge and usurp the Outsider himself. In the interregnum, it's highly suggested you make yourself 'interesting' enough for her to keep you around once she attains her goals. MDGeistMD02 (talk) 01:04, December 26, 2013 (UTC)
Essie is stronger than the Outsider. She is always there, staring over your shoulder with a charged up blink, about to choke you out and quickly cancel your stupid edit. And once you wake up...it's like nothing happened. Ozzytudor (talk) 23:34, December 20, 2014 (UTC)
