Callas Abele is a character first mentioned by name in Dishonored 2. She was the wife of Duke Theodanis Abele of Serkonos and mother to Luca Abele and Radanis Abele.

Biography[]

A quiet woman, Callas Abele married Duke Theodanis Abele of Serkonos. Known as a great architect, she made numerous contributions to the land that the people of Serkonos had never forgotten. She also loved and collected several paintings.

In 1828 her youngest son Radanis was killed by a person after he killed her lover on the order of his elder brother. After this personal loss, she commissioned a painting, "Radanis Abele's Incongruence with Time", from Anton Sokolov as a tribute to her late son.

The death of Radanis affected her deeply and she slowly withdrew, rarely making public appearances. She became more private and made herself busy with different projects, such as the building of the Orphans of Seafarers Academy and the installation of the marble flooring in the original ducal palace. She died in her fifty-seventh year, ostensibly from a fall from the balcony of the Grand Palace.
