Stanislaw Shepherd's corpse.

"[J]uggler, magician, thief, braggart, and surely, a fool"
—Shepherd's description of himself

Stanislaw Shepherd is a minor character found dead in the Clockwork Mansion in Dishonored 2.

Shepherd made his life as a traveling performer, and a thief when he felt like supplementing his income. At one point, he decided to steal from Kirin Jindosh, Grand Inventor to the Duke of Serkonos. Despite being equipped with a bone charm that helped him be more successful than many other criminals who tried before him, his attempt failed when he was trying to hide from the Clockwork Soldiers. He found a safe place to hide between the floors, but, without food or water, he was stuck there, the only ways of escape blocked off by Clockwork Soldiers or the Grand Serkonan Guard. He wrote a note to any person who might find his body, explaining how he would help them if he became a ghost, but otherwise wishing them a sad farewell, believing that none could succeed where he had failed.

His body can be found next to his bone charm and note near the waiting room in the Clockwork Mansion during the mission of the same name. It has been transformed into a bloodfly nest.
