Sister Hathena is a minor character who appears in The Return of Daud.
She is a senior member of the Oracular Order stationed at the Order's Chapel in Baleton and very dedicated to the protection of her fellow adherents.
The Return of Daud[]
In 1851, prior to the events of Dishonored 2, Sister Hathena and other members of the Order are endeavoring to perform the Ceremony of Prophecy, with a young novice, Sister Kara, as the focus to read a new Prophecy.
High Oracle Pelagia Themis was in attendance to help guide Kara during the trying Ritual. Hours into the Ceremony, Hathena sensed something was wrong when Kara began to exhibit strange behavior. Realizing the High Oracle was using the young girl to ferret out potential heretical forces, Hathena became worried and questioned the High Oracle. When the Ceremony proceeded to the point that Kara was starting to physically suffer from her efforts, Hathena decided to physically intervene.
This led to the senior Sister coming directly into conflict with the High Oracle to the point she shoved her leader aside and shielded the younger girl from harm. The High Oracle finally relented and allowed Sister Hathena to be removed from all other duties to take care of the stricken Kara.

- Despite her loyalty to the Order, Sister Hathena is willing to challenge anyone to protect her fellow sisters from what she sees as unnecessary harm, including the High Oracle herself. To this end, she was prepared to attack her leader with her mace if need be.
