A completed side objective.

Side objectives and Special Actions exist within every major mission of Dishonored, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches, and Dishonored 2. They must be located within the main mission in order for them to be listed in the journal.

Side Objectives produce a mission marker. Special Actions that are not also Side Objectives do not produce a mission marker, but are listed in the Mission Results page, beside alternative or special ways of fulfilling the main objective.

Jelly's Share

Open Jelly's safe. The combination is behind the whiskey bottles. Sokolov's elixir and Moray Jewel Box (50 coins).

Hermit Hovel

In the final part of the sewers that contain guards, there is a hermit's hovel behind the wooden barrier. Coin and a note.

Sunken Treasure

After going out of the sewers, Corvo can dive in the water to discover a chest. Moray War Medal and Powdered Crystal (80 coins).

High Overseer Campbell

Name Summary Reward
The Rune Use the Heart to seek out the rune hidden at the Hound Pits Pub. Rune.
Granny Rags Visit Granny Rags in her apartment. Access to the "Gentlemen Callers" side objective and rewards.
Gentlemen Callers

After Corvo enters Granny Rags' residence and interacts with her for the first time, three members of the Bottle Street Gang arrive to extract "payment" from her. Granny Rags asks Corvo to deal with her "gentleman callers."

When the thugs are dispatched, Granny Rags will ask Corvo to strike back at the gang by contaminating their bootleg elixir still with a plague rat viscera, which can be found at the Offices of Dr. Galvani.



Rescue Griff Rescue Griff from two Bottle Street Gang members who trapped him in a store. Enables Griff to sell supplies and blueprints to Corvo.
Spare Captain Curnow

Thaddeus Campbell plans to murder Curnow by giving him a poisoned glass of wine. Corvo can decide to poison both glasses, switch them or break both.

If Corvo alerts Curnow, he must render the Captain unconscious. He must then take Curnow to a 'safe place': a dumpster outside the Office's main entrance.

100 coins, the Bodyguard achievement, and Callista's admiration.
Protect Elsa and Berthold In the enclosed section of the Back Yard, the Overseer Overseer Berthold can be found arguing with two fellow Overseers who wish to imprison his sister Elsa for witchcraft. When Elsa insists that she is innocent, the Overseers attack the pair. Incapacitate the attackers and spare Berthold and Elsa.  Combination to the bunkhouse safe.

House of Pleasure

Slackjaw Visit Slackjaw at the Dunwall Whiskey Distillery. Access to the "Slackjaw's Missing Man, Crowley" side objective and rewards.

Slackjaw's Missing Man, Crowley

If Corvo Visits the Dunwall Whiskey Distillery, Slackjaw says that one of his best men, a thug named Crowley, has gone missing. Slackjaw asks Corvo to find him, and offers a reward in return. Key to the Captain's Chair Hotel and access to House of Pleasure's nonlethal elimination.
Save the Citizen A woman is being accosted by two guards attempting to steal elixir from her, in an alley leading to the Golden Cat. Intervene before the guards grow impatient and kill her. Backdoor key to Art Dealer's Apartment.

Help the Scavenger

A Bottle Street thug named Alec has been jailed by the City Watch. He asks Corvo to free him in exchange for some river krust pearls he claims to have scavenged. In order to reach the location of the pearls, Corvo must help the thug past several obstacles, such as a colony of river krusts and a locked gate.

One large and two small river krust pearls.

Save the Survivor survivor is trapped on the lowest level of an abandoned factory on the north end of Kaldwin's Bridge. Kill the swarm of plague rats in the factory to free her. Access to the lower floor, bone charm.
Release the Captives Near Anton Sokolov's Safehouse is an enclosure guarded by a Wall of Light, where two survivors are being held captive for use in Sokolov's experiments. If Corvo neutralizes the guards in the area and frees the two, they will give him the combination to a safe in the remains of a destroyed building. Two gold ingots.
Release the Test Subject Release the woman held captive as a test subject in Anton Sokolov's Safehouse. Lowers overall chaos.
Rob Pratchett's Safe The wealthy aristocrat, Pratchett, has a safe on the third floor of his house on the bridge. The combination is hidden in three of his paintings with their order recorded on a note in the same room as the safe. One rune and two gold ingots.

Prior to Corvo's departure for Boyle Mansion, Pendleton will give Corvo a letter to deliver to Montgomery Shaw. If Corvo gives Shaw the letter, he will be entered into a duel as Pendleton's representative. Rune.
Sign the Guest Ledger Corvo can sign the guestbook near the entrance in the foyer with his name. -

Return to the Tower

Search for Emily

When Corvo returns from the Boyle Mansion, Callista tells him that Emily is hiding from her. Search for Emily; the game will specify whether she is hiding in the streets behind the Hound Pits, inside the Hound Pits, or somewhere in the tower area.


Eliminate the Royal Interrogator Morris Sullivan is in the dungeon of Dunwall Tower with his trusty wolfhound. Take revenge and eliminate him. Rune and shrine access.
Find Jessamine's Secret Room The Empress maintained a secret room somewhere in Dunwall Tower. Find it. Bone charm, audiograph, letter, Piero's Spiritual Remedy, Imperial Cigarette Case (150 coins).
Reveal Your Identity to the Lord Regent When approaching the screen in the Tower's foyer before Burrows finishs using it, Corvo can speak to the Lord Regent and may reveal his identity. Alternatively, he can do so if he chooses to confront Burrows openly later in the mission. -

The Flooded District

Put Weeper Campbell Out of His Misery If Corvo eliminated Campbell by using the Heretic's Brand on him, the former High Overseer can be found as a weeper at the bottom of the Greaves Refinery. -

Creating a Safe Haven

Help survivors escape eradication.

Lowers overall chaos.

Settle the Confrontation Between Granny Rags and Slackjaw Granny Rags has captured Slackjaw and plans to cook him in her lair in the Dunwall Sewers. Corvo can choose to either confront Granny Rags and save Slackjaw, or help her prepare him. 600 coins if assisting Slackjaw.

The Loyalists

Save Piero and Sokolov

At the Hound Pits Pub, Corvo will find Piero Joplin and Anton Sokolov locked in Piero's Workshop, being assailed by a squadron of guards and tallboys. They have partially completed a next-generation arc pylon that can incapacitate all hostiles, but it is not yet functional. Corvo can choose to help complete and start the arc pylon, rescuing Piero and Sokolov.

Elimination of all hostiles at the Hound Pits Pub.

Find Emily's Drawing Before being taken away, Emily left a drawing of Corvo in his room. He can still find it there. -

The Light at the End

Put the Whale Out of Its Misery A living, eviscerated whale can be seen suspended from the ceiling in the Rothwild Slaughterhouse. Daud can use an electrical device to kill the whale and end its suffering. Whale eye.
Free the Captive Laborers Daud can allow two laborers held captive in the Rothwild Slaughterhouse yard to escape by unlocking their cage and disabling the nearby wall of light. Time Card, access to 'Former Rothwild Laborer' favor in The Dead Eels.
Loot the Watch Officer's Safe The safe is in the office behind the Wall of Light; the safe combination can be found on a boarded up section of the slaughterhouse wall if a favor was purchased. Time Card, sleep darts, weapons blueprint, Piero's Spiritual Remedy, gold ingot

Kill General Turnbull The General will only appear after Daud places the foul-smelling bag in the ventilation system of Timsh's estate. Killing him before he arrests Timsh may prevent a non-lethal solution of the mission. -
Raid all of Timsh's Chests Requires Timsh's key, which can be found on his person. Rune, coin and valuables.
Speak with 'Delilah' A statue of Delilah can be found in the studio on the fourth floor, next to Timsh's office. Interacting with it will initiate a dialogue with Delilah. Stone Cold Heart Achievement.

Maintain Overseer Disguise, Leaving No Evidence Behind

Requires purchase of the 'Overseer Daud' favor. Daud must not provoke or attack any guards or be spotted in an area he doesn't have access to. Unhindered movement through the prison.
Learn About the Brigmore Witch's Interrogation In the prison's interrogation room, Daud can find the body of a restrained Brigmore Witch. A nearby audiograph will reveal the results of the preceding interrogation. -
Stop the Execution of the Guard Who Helped Corvo The execution takes place in the prison's outer yard and is overseen by two officers, who must both be eliminated. The guard who helped Corvo is the one who still wears an officer's uniform. The guard will tell Daud Lizzy Stride's cell number.

Deal with the Brigmore Witch Scout On a building overlooking the riverfront hides a Brigmore Witch. As soon as Daud looks directly at her - even during Stop Time -, she will vanish instantly or as soon as Stop Time ends. She can be eliminated by stopping time and approaching as well as eliminating her while time stands still. -
Survive Abigail's Revenge If Daud interrogated Abigail Ames instead of helping her in The Knife of Dunwall, she will leave a bomb on the roof of the Draper's Ward Shopping Area. Life.

Delilah's Masterwork

Find the Brigmore Crypt The crypt is hidden under a trapdoor in the front yard's mausoleum. The missing lever handle can be found in a small, crumbling structure in the garden. Entrance to the manor without requiring the key.
Avoid Triggering Any Traps The manor grounds as well as the building itself are rigged with numerous explosive traps. -
