Shan Yun Murdered is a newspaper article found in Death of the Outsider.

Transcript[]

Tears and shock tonight as news of famed opera singer Shan Yun's death spreads through the Isles. A charismatic performer, Yun was known for heartrending ballads like “Where the Oxrush Blooms” and “Release Thy Golden Locks, Gloriana.” The musician was preparing for a private concert in his home when he was savagely murdered. A servant discovered his lifeless body and contacted the Grand Guard.

“I’m dumbfounded,” said Hani Olivero, leader of The Tyvian Songbird Society. “Talent like his comes along only once every few generations. Silencing such a sublime voice... it’s desecration.” Olivero stands vigil with other musical devotees outside the singer and composer’s house. A memorial ceremony and tribute concert have been announced by the Grand Palace.

The Guard was characteristically tightlipped about the murder, citing the ongoing investigation. A generous reward is offered for any information about the singer's murder.

Location[]
