Marelan is an unseen character in Death of the Outsider. An acquaintance of Billie Lurk, she and Ruiz work as smugglers.
Biography[]
About a week before the mission Follow the Ink, Ruiz heard about an opportunity to smuggle Wynnedown caviar to the aristocrats east of Karnaca. Billie allowed Marelan to use the Dreadful Wale's skiff, and instructed her to return it to the water lock in Upper Cyria when she was done. Marelan promised to keep good care of it, knowing the value of a good skiff.
Marelan's mission went well, with her and Ruiz making a decent amount of coin. Marelan had Dunbar check the skiff's oil level and fix the throttle, then stowed it in the water lock.

She left a note with it, informing Billie that she would get a share of the profit next time they met face to face.
