Content[]

The guide compiles informations on the game's characters, an overview of the gameplay, and details about the stealth and chaos mechanics. The guide goes further on the supernatural abilities granted by the Outsider, the gadgets purchased from Piero Joplin and the various Bone Charms found in-game. There are also several lists of items like foods and keys, valuables such as heirlooms, components and precious items, the Sokolov paintings and their location and a list of all books available to read.

The central part details each mission, with maps of the levels showing the locations of elixirs, remedies and collectibles, but also various points of interest such as access to the various areas, whether by conventional means or by possessing rats and fish. For each mission, the guide shows two walkthrough: the path of blood, dedicated to a more violent but efficient way into the game, and the path of shadow for a stealthier approach. Tips are also displayed to earn achievements and trophies throughout the game or to execute special actions.

The last part of the guide describes and shows through screenshots the location of collectibles like Runes, Bone Charms, the paintings, Outsider Shrines, but also books (though for only one appearance of each). A complete list of all enemies encountered and their specifics is also present, as well as all achievements and trophies.

The guide concludes with a two pages interview of co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith who answer about the creative process of Dishonored and their inspirations.

Trivia[]
