Is it possible that we could get a run-down of what's supposed to go in this category? I feel like I see a lot of articles that don't really belong with what I think 'lore' is, and a lot of articles removed from the category that I think still belong.

Those articles got removed from the category because they were already in a subcategory of the Lore category (e.g. books, audiographs, etc).
