Arkane Studios is a video game developer based in Lyon, France and owned by ZeniMax Media . Arkane Studios was founded in 1999. Their first game, Arx Fatalis, was released 3 years later. Arkane Studios opened an office in Austin, Texas on July 2006.
They developed Dishonored and its DLC, including Dunwall City Trials and two other as-yet unnamed DLC packs.
Arkane was named "Studio of the Year" by Ben of TheGamerDrive. He pointed out that their first major solo effort, Dishonored, was nominated for Game of the Year. [1]
