Arkane Studios

Arkane Studios is a video game developer based in Lyon, France and owned by ZeniMax Media . Arkane Studios was founded in 1999, and their first game, Arx Fatalis, was released 3 years later. Arkane Studios opened an office in Austin, Texas on July 2006. Another title, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic was released by Arkane in October 2006.

Arkane Studios developed Dishonored and its DLC, including Dunwall City Trials and The Knife of Dunwall. A third and final DLC, The Brigmore Witches, is currently in development.

Arkane was named "Studio of the Year" by Ben of TheGamerDrive. Their first major solo effort, Dishonored, was nominated for Game of the Year. [1]
