Arkane Studios opened an office in Austin, Texas on July 2006. In October 2006, Arkane released another title, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. In August 2010, Arkane Studios was acquired by ZeniMax Media.

Arkane Studios is the developer of Dishonored and its DLCDunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, and The Brigmore Witches, as well as the game's sequel, Dishonored 2.

Arkane Studios was named "Studio of the Year" by Ben of TheGamerDrive.[1]
