Alonso is a character in the novel Dishonored: The Return of Daud. He is a former Dunwall city watchman and he works as interrogator for Maximilian Norcross.
Biography[]
Alonso worked at Dunwall city watchman around the time of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin's death. He knew about Daud and also about his position leading the Whalers and his notoriety as the "Knife of Dunwall". Later he lost his job and he was approched by Maximilian to work for him which he accepted. He begin to work for Maximilian as interrogator.
Dishonored: The Return of Daud[]
After Maximilian brings a member of the League of Protectors agent and Daud to his Morgengaard Castle. There Alonso interrogates violently the agent in the hopes of finding out Daud's identity the woman reveals to him about Duad but she dies from her wounds. After hearing about Daud he quickly recognizes Daud who is also called the Knife of Dunwall. He tells his men to bring a Overseer's music box from his gallery to use as he goes to confront Daud as he tries to take the knife, revealing that one of the artifacts he possess (a monocle) allows him to see supernatural things such as the Mark of the Outsider. Using the music box to incapacitate Daud, he then has him taken to the preparation room. Despite this, Norcross himself was seemingly unaware of these facts without some Overseer field reports Alonso brought with him along with other material from a cache of Abbey documents.
During the time when a group of invaders interferes and Alonso goes to deal with the group but he is killed during the ensuing chaos by Daud. Alonso body is burned to ashes when Daud burns down the entire castle to the ground.
