I'm writing this for the last time! If anyone doubts Delilah's story again, he needs psychiatric help! The Heart (Jessamine) CONFIRMS EVERYTHING SHE SAID (to Emily)!!!! Here are four important lines from Jessamine (the Heart). 1. "I knew her, as a child. We played together at Dunwall Tower. She was a kitchen girl and I... I was..." 2. "Many times, her father (Emperor Euhorn) told her that she was a princess, and PROMISED THAT ONE DAY SHE WOULD BE A QUEEN (EMPRESS)". 3. "They were never fair to her. No kindness was ever shown. They whipped her. Sent her in the streets." 4. "She watched her mother sicken and die in the deptor's prison. She will never forget. Never forgive." Also one additional quote: "Forgive me, Delilah. I should have tried to find you."
If this is not enough, here is the evidence from Harvey Smith himself.
I've been in touch with Harvey Smith on Facebook for eight years now. He personally confirmed the whole Delilah's story! He recently said to me: “I'll tell you all right now, without any twists or turns. Of course, I don't work for Arkane anymore, so I can. I have to admit, I don't like where Arkane is going at all. Now, regarding Delilah. We wanted to expand on Delilah's story, so that finally in Dishonored 2 the player gets to know her whole story. Her story is truly the most tragic. Everything she's been through is truly indescribable. She's achieved things that other people could never dream of, and she's come from the ashes to the stars. We thought that it was a great way to give the player some depth to Delilah's character. We think we've more than succeeded in that. You asked me before who my favorite character is, and my answer is Delilah. I really think Delilah's character, her psyche, her ambitions have the most depth of any of the characters. Of course, I also love Daud, Emily, and Corvo, but they really can't compare to Delilah in terms of character depth. So Delilah is the rightful heir to the throne, she always was, and if you ask me if she deserved the throne, the answer is absolutely yes. She's truly the most mature person who could rule the empire. We introduced this very well in the Brigmore Witches DLC when Delilah said to Daud: Are you doing this for Emily? Don't bother. You killed her mother in front of her and sold her to a gang of murderous crooks. You think she's fit for the throne? No, the girl Emily Kaldwin will have the mind of Delilah the First who did not inherit everything she got, but came to power through the force of her own genius! How could anyone think that a 10-year-old child could rule an empire! It's completely absurd. Now let's move on to how she ruled in Dishonored 2. Sure, her rule in Dishonored 2 was pretty bad, but that's not what I personally wanted. I thought that Delilah, when she finally took the throne, would be the best and wisest ruler, so everyone would see that and realize that Emily really wasn't fit to be Empress. But some people on the team, I won't name them now, didn't want that, they wanted what you saw in the game. Delilah is a terrible ruler who should be overthrown, Emily is a bad ruler but she's better than Delilah, etc., it's really terrible, because that kind of thinking is amateurish and immature, but in the end I still let them do it. But so you know, canonically, Delilah continued to rule as Empress within her painting until 1855, when she returned to the real world and took her real throne from her niece Emily. She was the best ruler of all, even leading her people to explore Pandyssia, as the Outsider himself said in one of the endings of Dishonored 2. You wanted a more detailed answer, and here it is.” This is evidence above all evidence, the words of Harvey Smith himself.
It would be much more interesting if Delilah was a protagonist for the DLC for Dishonored 2 instead of boring Billie Lurk! There is so much backstory surrounding Delilah that could have been told from her perspective. Stories like: how she founded the coven in the 1835, how her and Breanna met, how Delilah and Luca met, story of Brigmore Witches from Delilah's perspective, or Delilah's time in Karnaca from her perspective, Dishonored 2's story from Delilah's perspective etc. As you can see, all these stories that I have presented would be way more interesting to explore than what we got with DOTO. Also her powers would be incredible to use.
Are we all fated to wait forever for, not even a trailer or something, but for even a notice about it? Even if it was about the cancellation of the game, are we all fated to not knowing even about this? For Christ sake, I’m waiting for almost 8 years for one single clear word about this, and I’m perfectelly sure that I’m not the only. Does the actual game industry like that?
(Sorry if there’s any gramatical mistake in my text, english isn’t my mother leanguage.)
Hi,
As the title suggests
I wanted to ask if you guys already had a reading/playing list of the content based on chronological order that took place in the universe of Dishonored. Or any source on upcoming content.
Regards, Chrono
I am sorry for stating this, but It is pretty obvious. I am in contact with Harvey Smith, and I have not asked him this yet, but I feel I know the answer. These guys probably explain it best:
By the way, everything has changed in Arkane, it's been 7 years. Most old team members have left including the most important Harvey Smith. He was the main reason Dishonored 2 was made, because he was really passionate about the game world and he really wanted to make Dishonored 2. He has not left the studio, Arkane Austin was closed so he is no longer a member of it. Only Arkane Lyon exists now, and they are working on the new Blade game, and obviously have no interest in making Dishonored 3, or they probably just don't care anymore.
Does anyone actually know how to play nancy? because i would love an explanation on how. also why hasn't anyone made a youtube video about it?
Honestly it's been so long and I've been hearing all sorts , bethesda roadmaps.. arkane closing.. its been 7 years since the last game. I've hoped for the long3st time that we'd get something new. Now, Dishonored 2 released 4 years after dishonored 1 so the fact dishonored 3 has taken at least double the time makes it hard to believe its still might happen. But as we know it was on the roadmap as dishonored 3 to come out this year. With covid lots of games came out later than wanted . This may be the case for our beloved . For this reason , I still think there's a chance . Whenever I research I see that dishonored will come out again on fall of 2024 but with no clues/updat3s/hints from bethesda/ arkane on any platforms its hard to believe it'll come out so soon. I mean who knows, they might have scrapped the whole game and put am end to the franchise. I just hope they're just keeping it hidden to make a big announcement to surprise us, though it is very unlikely. Thoughts? Do you still have hope for another game?

Quick question do the fleet fighter and swift stalker bone charm stack
For instance I have a crafted bone charm that has four swift stalker on it so do they work together such as with fleet fighter equipped do I still get the swift stalker bonus BTW dishonor 2
Does anyone else feel like the level design of Dunwall Tower is way more lush, grand, beautiful and interesting in Dishonored 1 compared to Dishonored 2? For example, many rooms in D1 Tower look way more colorful, like General Tobias chambers or even the Lord Regent's chambers, the main hall or the foyer. Please tell me your opinions!
I work at a coffee house and my trainee is practicing her latte art
Having been overawed the first time round (when the game was released) it's a pleasure to get reacquainted on a modern PC.
The fact that the game still runs flawlessly is wonderful but that it still amazes like a new AAA title is incredible.
I'm only just starting the Golden Cat but will post my progress and thoughts over the coming weeks and months.
I haven't bought any DLC yet (thoughts welcome) but I did buy Dishonored 2 (as yet unplayed) in a Steam sale a few years ago...
Best regards to all.
Avoiding detection has nothing to do with chaos levels. This was already tested in here https://www.youtube.com/live/azcdPGwR6Fs?si=cWOeoELj9A-zeCLq
I've also done a playthrough with low chaos and over 100 detections on the first level and low chaos was maintained.
I'm thinking of going through all the in-game documents on the wiki and making a page consisting of list of all the minor characters mentioned in them with a small, single sentence bio, is this something that would be appreciated? I haven't contributed to this wiki before but I have to make a note of all the minor characters for a personal project and thought I might as well see if it would be of help here.

I want to download this game, but I don't know which edition to choose. Write which edition is the best.
